Gemini Rigel carbon Gravel/Road chainring (1x11/12/13)
The world’s lightest single chainring
RIGEL
Swipe and uncover the most technologically advanced carbon chainring.
Maximum lightness, stiffness, and minimal friction with an unprecedented design.
In an era where races are decided by fractions of a second, the enhancements that enable you to go faster make the difference between reaching the top of the podium or not. Rigel has been developed in carbon, enhancing the efficiency of conventional chainrings, minimizing friction with the chain to help you be the fastest, with a singular chainring
HyperCars Technology for your bicycle
With over 3 years of research and development, involving more than 500 prototypes and thousands of kilometers of testing in all types of conditions by the most demanding riders, the outcome is astounding. This effort has led to the filing of 2 international patents and the creation of the most technologically advanced chainring.
Patent pending Anti-Wear technology
The metal core of each tooth, crafted from 7075 T6 Aluminum alloy, efficiently transfers power to the chain, providing high wear resistance. Simultaneously, the carbon fiber covering minimizes dynamic friction and noise with every link, creating an ultralight and aerodynamic chainring structure. Experience an unparalleled smoothness while pedaling
Continous Fiber Teeth
Thanks to a process involving controlled pressure exceeding 100 tons and the specific arrangement of materials, the composite fibers are strategically oriented in the geometry of each tooth around the metal core. This structural organization provides a level of strength impossible to achieve with any other carbon fiber manufacturing process, such as layering or CNC-machined carbon.

FAQ’S
CAN I USE RIGEL WITH ANY TYPE/BRAND OF CHAIN?
The tooth design of Rigel has been developed to be compatible with any chain on the market for 11 and 12 speeds, including Shimano, SRAM Eagle, and SRAM Eagle Flattop chains.
DO I HAVE TO USE A NEW CHAIN WHEN INSTALLING A NEW RIGEL?
If you want to maximize the life of the Rigel chainring, Gemini recommends using a new chain when installing the chainring, and monitoring its wear. This way, you will extend the life of your Rigel carbon chainring for many more kilometers.
WHAT DURABILITY DOES A RIGEL CHAINRING HAVE?
Defining a general durability for a component of this type is impossible, as its durability depends on factors such as the power exerted by the cyclist while pedaling, terrain variations, maintenance, etc. These factors can influence the mileage achieved, much like with a conventional aluminum chainring. Therefore, we cannot provide a specific figure. Keep in mind that the core is made of metal, so wear will be similar to that of an aluminum chainring.
HOW CAN I DETERMINE IF THE OFFSET IS SUITABLE FOR MY BIKE?
The 6.5 mm offset is compatible with all bikes that have a 142 mm rear hub configuration
IS IT TRULY THE LIGHTEST CHAINRING IN THE WORLD?
Yes, it’s the lightest Direct Mount chainring out there. In the 30T version with SRAM 3-bolt compatibility, Gemini has achieved a weight of around 39 grams. This is primarily thanks to the use of carbon fiber for both the structure and the teeth, despite having an internal metal core dedicated solely to extending its lifespan.
WHAT MAINTENANCE DOES IT REQUIRE?
Gemini recommends lubricating your drivetrain with a dry lubricant to prevent the adhesion of particles to the chain, which could lead to premature wear of your RIGEL carbon chainring. Keeping a clean and well-lubricated drivetrain will extend the lifespan of RIGEL.
WHAT MAKES RIGEL'S TECHNOLOGY SO SPECIAL?
Rigel is made of Forged Carbon, resulting in an organization of continuous fiber structure in the tooth that is unattainable with traditional carbon fiber manufacturing processes. Additionally, its internal metal core provides enhanced performance of the carbon teeth against wear.
